Alliance Sends Letter of Support on CER Amendment

The Alliance sent a letter supporting Amendment #3157 to H.R. 3590, introduced by Senators Shaheen and Merkley. The amendment includes provisions to expand Comparative Effectiveness Research (CER). The Alliance supports CER that is conducted by an independent entity with full participation of all relevant stakeholders. Further the Alliance believes that CER should enhance information about treatment options and outcomes for patients and physicians, helping them to choose the care that best meets the individual needs of the patients.
